The Grand Rapids office was opened in November 2005. Initially, it started as a Deli/Bakery office. In the fall of 2007, the Kalamazoo office was closed and all personnel were moved to the Grand Rapids office. It was at this time, the Grand Rapids office became the newest Branch sales office for Sherwood Food Distributors which serves Western Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.

The Sherwood Foods Grand Rapids office currently has 7 employees in the sales office and 11 Drivers. With 4 trucks based out of Kalamazoo, 2 in Grand Rapids and 1 in Cadillac MI.
